Abdominal pain during menses is actually suggestive of ovulation, that is release of egg that is required for fertilization. So the pain during menses is, you need not worry, if the pain is during a missed periods, then it is of little concern, because in pregnancy there is little amount of pain, but in abnormal pregnancies, that is when the pregnancy happens outside the uterus, that is in the fallopian tubes, then it will cause severe degree of pain that will require medical attention.
